Just in time for lazy spring and summer days, a newer, cheaper Kindle from Amazon will be available soon. The device, simply called Kindle will be available starting Apr. 10 and for a fabulous $90 pricetag––quite a steal.

The first Kindle with a front light for under $100 comes in black and white and has the latest electronic ink technology for better contrast. It also comes with three months of Kindle Unlimited for free which is a $30 value!

The adjustable front light makes it easy to use your Kindle both indoor and outside while enjoying warm weather. Despite this feature, the battery life will remain charged for weeks and new additions also include capacitive touch to prevent accidental swipes on the six-inch display.

The new Kindle carries traditional features into a fresh design, with a glare-free screen, space to hold thousands of books, Audible and Whispersync technologies, X-Ray, Smart Lookup and Goodreads compatibility. Along with classic features, the new Kindle also allows for better organization. When you finish a book it will automatically be marked as read in your library and all your other reading devices will sync up, too!

If you’re on the fence about upgrading your older Kindle, you can trade in your device to receive an Amazon.com gift card for the appraised value as well as a 25% discount on the newest model. Happy reading!
