Everyone’s been there…that moment of regret when an item that looked amazing online shows up at your doorstep and you wonder just what in the world you were thinking when you clicked “purchase.” That’s the downside to the ease of online shopping, but Amazon is looking to make it easier to shop without regrets by offering easy returns at a spot you probably already spend a lot of your time.
Kohl’s just announced that it will begin accepting Amazon returns at 82 store locations starting in October. The service will be available first in Los Angeles and Chicago, no word yet if, and when, it might expand to other cities. Customers can bring their items purchased online in the store and return them without any shipping fees. You don’t even need to box it back up, Kohl’s will package and transport the items back to Amazon. Kohl’s locations will even offer preferred parking spots near the store entrance for shoppers coming in for Amazon returns.
This isn’t the first partnership between Amazon and Kohl’s. Last month the companies announced that the Amazon Smart Home Experience would be launching at 10 select Kohl’s stores in October. The experience will be a designated spot in the store where customers can get a hands-on look at Amazon’s smart home products, like Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Amazon Fire TV and Fire tablets.
