Who says kids get to have all the fun when in comes to counting down the holiday season? Between the late nights of last-minute gift wrapping and having to refinance your house to buy that must-have toy on Ebay, parents have earned a treat, too. And what could be better than a new bottle of wine every day?

European grocery chain Aldi recently announced its plans to sell an advent calendar just for grown-ups. Instead of tiny chocolates behind each door, you’ll find a mini bottle of wine. All 24 days feature a different bottle, with several varietals including red, white, rosé and sparkling.

Now for the bad news, this amazing advent calendar is only available in the UK. Aldi has been rapidly expanding in the US, however, so there is hope for next year. In the meantime, we did a little Pinterest searching and it turns out there are plenty of easy DIY ideas to make your own wine advent calendar. Or you could just open up a regular bottle and pour a glass. A treat is a treat no matter what kind of packaging it comes in.
