From playdates for the tots to swapping trade secrets with the moms, you’ve got plenty of reasons to get plugged-in. Pregnant in Atlanta & Atlanta Mommies
This MeetUP group is comprised of woman in all stages of motherhood—and other caregivers—who are looking to meet other women for friendship, support, and fun. They strive to provide a judgement free, nurturing, and supportive environment for all women and their children. Events, including Monthly Mondays and Tuesday Talks, are mostly weekdays, but weekend events are sometimes planned. Members also include adoptive parents and those going through fertility treatments or working with a surrogate.

Funtime Playdates
Funtime Playdates was created as a way for parents to network with other parents and engage in fun activities with their children in Buckhead, Midtown, and Downtown Atlanta that are either inexpensive or free.

Atlanta Gay Parents Network
Connect with this group of LGBTQ+ folks with kids, who have play dates, park days, and plan special outings. This group is supportive and fosters a sense of community.

Atlanta Postpartum Meetup
Feeling overwhelmed and scared after having a baby? Meet other Atlanta women dealing with post-partum reactions and mood issues including insomnia, panic, baby blues, obsessive compulsion and depression. The group’s goal is to offer peer support and help those who need a safe space to talk.

Fun with Kids!
Meet new families and have fun with your kids at the same time by joining Fun With Kids! This group is for everyone—single, married, divorced, LGBTQ, and from any ethnic, religious, or socioeconomic background. It’s all about having fun with your kids.

Single Parents of Atlanta Meetup
If you’re a single mom or dad and you’re looking for a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities to do with your kids with other singles, this group is for you. Most activities will include your kiddos, but there will be at least one or two events a month just for parents.

Intown Mommas
City loving Mommas can join the Intown Mommas for children developmental activities while having fun. They focus on enjoying what the city has to offer indoor playgrounds to museums.

Natural Learning Preschool Alternative
Get an alternative to academic preschool with a focus on nature exploration and gardening. Group outings are planned at parks, community gardens and nature-inspired locations. Expose your babies and toddlers to sensory activities, imaginary play, art and more.

Northside Hospital Classes
Come meet new Moms and Dads at Northside Hospital’s menu of classes from Breastfeeding Couples to Essentials for Baby Skin Care to New Mom’s Support Group and even Daddy Bootcamp. Classes are officiated by Northside Hospital staff in a comfortable and safe setting for parents to share their concerns, get advice and meet new parents.

Motherhood Matters
Held the 1st Tuesday of every month in Buckhead, this group is led by a registered nurse with more than 25 years experience, who has been an associate faculty member at Emory School of Nursing and a Perinatal Educator and Consultant at Piedmont Hospital. Learn about growth and development of young babies, share your concerns and ideas about motherhood, and bring your baby from newborn thru 6 months. No fee and no advance registration required.

Atlanta Moms & Kids Unplug Play
This Meetup offers curated events with unique, enriching activities for you and and your little one, like yoga, improv, and cooking classes, to name a few. Whether you’re a working mom looking to enjoy new activities with your kids, or a stay-at-home mom looking to find a fun social setting, you’ll fit right in with what this group’s mission.

Not Your Average Mommies
This group was built to create long-lasting friendships and establish a strong support group for all the mommies to uplift each other. It has a very active calendar, and includes (primarily) group plans with children, as well as mom-night-outs and weekend trips.

My Atlanta Moms Club
This Facebook-based club is a mother-to-mother support group with voices from every walk of life. It is created to be an atmosphere where women can ask questions and seek advice about all things mom.
