Christy Eikhoff, Partner at Alston & Bird and Founder of W3

As if being a mother to Evie (12) and Grey (10) while representing companies in multimillion or billion dollar business disputes at Alston & Bird LLP wasn't enough, Christy was inspired to host a "discussion party" about the perils and rewards of working motherhood after reading an interesting article on the topic. The event, dubbed "Wine, Working, and Womanhood" (W3 for short), has grown to a twice-annual event attended by a wide representation of women across at least a dozen different industries.

Proud Moment: "The cases I work on are often high profile in the business or legal field, and I am often the only woman at the table. I’m inspired by that."

Words of Wisdom: "If asked in separate rooms, my husband and I would both likely say that we each give 60%, because it feels like there’s more than 100% of ground to cover. Without that level of mutual dedication—give and take—it wouldn’t work."
