In the times of peanut-free preschools, the creamy comfort of peanut butter has become something of a rare delicacy for kids that aren’t allergic. In honor of National Peanut Day on January 24th, we wanted to serve up six spots where you can get an ooey-gooey, peanut-buttery treat in celebration of our official state crop.

Highland Bakery’s Peanut Butter French Toast

Breakfast just doesn’t get any better than Highland Bakery’s peanut butter french toast. Equal parts sweet and satisfyingly salty, Challah bread is filled with peanut butter, dipped in Batter, crusted with Bran Flakes, and then topped with caramelized banana. Hey, it has protein and fruit, so it is healthy right?
