The Spanish Academy offers Spanish classes for children ages 12 months to adults. They employ the immersion method engaging children in language in a fun environment of songs, games, books, puppets and art projects. They offer preschool and mother’s morning out sessions at various schools and churches around Atlanta, as well as after school classes for children over 4 years of age.

Language Institute of Atlanta
Grouping into ages 3-6 years and 7-10 years, Language Institute classes focus on the spoken aspect of the language. Children’s classes are offered in Spanish, French, Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese, and Japanese. Through the structured practice of specially designed activities, children learn basic vocabulary and sentence structures. Activities requiring more concentration alternate with fun exercises that allow them to relax while practicing a foreign language.

Alliance Française
Alliance Française offers Bébé Alliance for toddlers (ages 12-36 months) and their parents at both their midtown and Roswell locations as well as Petite Alliance for preschoolers (4 to 5 years) at their midtown location. The classes encourage learning French as little ones hear and learn French nursery rhymes, songs and play sound or word games.

Ecole du Samedi
Ecole du Samedi offers both native and non-native French programs for younger children: Bébés & Moi for toddlers (16 to 36 months) and their accompanying parent, and Bout’chous for the 3 year olds. Babies will learn through song, games, sensory exploration of their environment, stories and small crafts—while older tots will study different themes such as family, transportation, farm animals and activities such as songs, fingers play, alphabet, numbers and shapes. Taught in the immersion method, Kindergarten 1 & 2 classes are also available for 4 and 5 year old children.
