They don’t have to climb your walls when you take them to an indoor climbing party at Atlanta Rocks. Housing over 12,00 square feet of seamless climbing surface, there are plenty of top-rope stations and routes from easy to challenging—depending on how adventurous your climbers are. Staff is on-hand to assist in proper equipment use and technique, so you can sit back and enjoy the fun.

Ages: There’s no official age, but guests 5 and older have more successful climbs.

Cost: $25 per person for up to 20 climbers, and parents provide refreshments and party favors themselves.

The largest organization in the country devoted to puppetry art is located in the heart of Midtown, and they know how to throw a party. While members are exclusively allowed to book parties here, the show—with priority and front row seating, puppet workshop, and party room makes the $90 family membership fee worth it.

Ages: Workshops and other activities are generally recommended for 4 on up, though 2 and 3 year olds are also welcome with an accompanying adult.

Cost: From $211.25 for 10 guests, including show tickets and a party room. Post-show puppetry workshop is an additional fee per person.

Kids will love driving the crane, working at a Waffle House, hitting the grocery store, and exploring the incredible climbing structure in the heart of the museum.
