Once upon a time, jam bands meant something different to us than our current situation of jelly-stained back seat kid boppers. Ford Amphitheater - Hollywood, Ca

Ford Amphitheater's recent two-year renovation to the tune of $66 million and its beautiful acoustics in the heart of the city make it a must-try for family friendly live music. Intimate yet grand, with programming that will knock your socks off, a visit to Ford Amphitheater should be on everyone's to-do list. Be sure to check out it's Saturday morning summer concert series for kids called Big World Fun—free for kids and $5 for adults—which start with crafts and round out with musician meet-and-greets after each performance.
