National Building Museum, Washington, D.C.

The National Building Museum is one of the District's go-to spots for young families, complete with a hands-on introduction to the building arts designed especially for the Museum’s under-6 set, called The Building Zone. Filled with construction play trucks, hard hats, and a life-size custom built "green" house, there's more than exhibits to keep your tot trucking on a rainy day.
