Everyone loves a trip to the movies, but since getting the entire family to the theater isn’t always an easy (or inexpensive!) feat, you want to make sure the flick you choose is the right one. Luckily 2017 is shaping up to be quite a year for family-friendly films: From awesome animation to remakes the whole family will adore, we’ve rounded up the best new movies worth watching. The only thing left to do is pass the popcorn!

Beauty and the Beast

Belle is back in the highly anticipated live-action remake of the 1991 animated film, Beauty and the Beast. Emma Watson snagged the coveted part of Belle, a beautiful, book-loving inventor from a small town who dreams of bigger things, while the fearsome beast is played by Dan Stevens. The important message to "not judge a book by it's cover" never goes out of style and we're certain this Disney remake will be a poignant and entertaining film for the whole family.
