The perfect solution to those long car rides to grandma’s house. Audible just released their best picks for 2017 to get you started.

An audio book isn’t just about a good read, it’s also about the performance. Every year, Audible rounds up the best audio performances, sifting through thousands of titles that had excellent reviews and high ratings from Audible users. Then they make a selection for several different categories, including Best Fiction, Best Young Adult, Best Kids and many more.

This year’s pick for Best Young Adult Audiobook is National Book Award Finalist Long Way Down, written and performed by Jason Reynolds. The selection for Best Kids Audiobook went to Wishtree, written by Katherine Applegate and performed by Nancy Linari. Check out the full list of top audiobooks of 2017 here.
