Every once in a while there’s a celeb out there that makes us feel like they just GET us and that’s exactly what happened this week when Blake Lively called out the myth of snapping back after giving birth. In her newest Instagram post, the mother of two shares that getting her body back after baby wasn’t easy and it took 14 months to accomplish.

In typical Blake fashion, she makes light of the fact that she couldn’t manage to shed the 61 pounds she gained with her second pregnancy by simply scrolling through Instagram and looking at fit bikini models. Oh, don’t we all wish!

Lively gives major props to her trainer who got her to this point, proving that even celebrity moms need help when it comes to ditching the baby weight.

It looks like Blake has been working on getting her groove back for awhile now because it’s not anyone who can pull off this look, and she’s giving us major envy (and motivation) with those green animal print pants!

We all know it takes nine months to put on the baby weight, but we are never quite as generous with ourselves when it comes to working it off. Thanks to Blake, hopefully, us moms can take inspiration from the hilarious and fit mama on going easy with ourselves and being proud when we reach our goals.
