If you’ve made the choice to breastfeed your baby, there’s a new program that you’ll want to know about. With the Chance to Choose program, moms with an insurance-provided breast pump can trade it in for a premium pump of their choosing at a discounted price. The original pump is then re-serviced and donated to a disadvantaged mom in need. Read on for how you can help.

Without access to a pump, many women are not able to continue breastfeeding. Pumps help women increase their milk output if it’s low, and they allow women to pump milk for their babies when they’re away from them for work or other reasons.

So, if you’d like to help other moms choose the way they feed their children, donate your current pump to this program. Your reward? Both the satisfaction of helping a fellow mom and a new, more powerful pump.

To donate and upgrade your pump:
1. Go to Breast Pumps Direct and enter the brand of your existing pump.
2. Choose a new, premium pump at a discounted price.
3. When you receive your new pump, send back your old pump for free using the prepaid shipping label.
