Buzzfeed may be best known for its trending content and viral videos, but its offshoot video recipe site, Tasty, wants to sell you a new way to cook your food.

The Tasty One Top is a Bluetooth-enabled induction cooktop that uses your smartphone to help you perfectly sauté, grill, fry, slow-cook and simmer your food.

The One Top syncs with the Tasty App (which contains more than 1,700 Buzzfeed recipes), so it can reference recipes and automatically adjust temperature and power settings to make your meal right. The gadget can also track the external temperature of a pan or pot as well as gauge the internal temperature of your food, so that you don’t overcook or undercook your eats. And, it can let you know when to flip your pancakes, add ingredients or when your meal is done and ready to be plated.

It even has a photogenic hexagonal shape, “because Instagram.”

If Tasty‘s viewership is any indication (the viral video recipe site reaches one in four Facebook users worldwide and has more than 2.3 billion views a month, according to Buzzfeed), the Tasty One might do just fine. It joins a quickly-growing market of “smart” appliances, including Wi-Fi connected refrigerators and stovetops.

The Tasty One Top costs $149 and is available for pre-order now on tastyonetop.com.
