Hey mama, the most popular baby names of 2017 are here! BabyCenter recently released their top 100 baby names for the year, featuring the 50 boy and 50 girl names that were the most popular with parents in the US. So if you gave birth in the past year and want to see if your kiddo’s name tops the list, or you’re about to give birth and are all about the hot name trends, you’ll definitely want to check this list out.

Along with the mega-list of hot, hot names for 2017, BabyCenter also gave us the breakdown on which names are fast climbers, which ones are starting to make a graceful (or not so graceful) fall and which ones are staying steady. If you’re wondering, “How do they know which names are the most popular?” BabyCenter got their data from more than 500,000 parents who named their babies in 2017.

When it comes to girls, the top five are, in order, Sophia (which takes the top honors yet again), Olivia, Emma, Ava and Isabella. To add on to the list of girl’s names ending with the letter “a,” Mia and Aria followed in the sixth and seventh spots. Rounding out the top 10 are Riley, Zoe and Amelia.

If you need a boy name, Jackson wins out and gets the highest honor. The name is followed by Liam, Noah, Aiden, Lucas, Caden, Grayson, Mason, Elijah and Logan.
