November is World Prematurity Month and Carter’s preemie line is getting a big update. The retailer known for adorable baby and children’s clothing is expanding their preemie capsule line, which will offer 17 new styles for teeny tiny babies weighing up to 5 pounds, already adding to Carter’s collection of 70 styles for preemies.
Carter’s has taken many of the unique needs and challenges of preemie babies into consideration when designing the new line, such as plastic snaps instead of metal for x-rays and easy access closures at the arms. The line will offer a collection of bodysuits with inspiring messages like “NICU Graduate” and “Great Things Come In Small Packages.”
In addition to adorable slogan-ed onesies, parents of preemies can also shop the sweet sleep and play outfits with coordinating hats, specially designed to fit tiny heads and keep them warm during their staying the NICU and at home once they graduate.
The newest items in the preemie collection also offer three sizes: preemie up to 5 pounds, preemie up to 6 pounds and newborn up to 9 pounds. As parents of preemies know, every pound counts! The new offerings mean a perfect fit, no matter how big or small. These adorable gowns offer plastic snaps and foldable mittens for a comfy fit.
Preemie sizes can be found at all Carter’s stores across the United States and the new capsule line will be available in a select 40 stores nationwide and online. Shoppers can find all the fresh designs beginning mid-November with certain styles already available on the Carter’s website.
