Good morning, Angels. Its time for another retro reboot and if the first trailer for the new Charlie’s Angels movie is any indication, this one is going to be an action-packed reimagining of a classic.
The new Charlie’s Angels, directed by Elizabeth Banks stars Kristen Stewart, Ella Balinska and Naomi Scott as the newest generation of Angels who have taken the top-secret agency global. Based on the hit TV series from the late 70’s, the film is actually the third installment of the franchise which began with the 2000 movie starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu.
This time around there are several Bosleys since the group has gone international, and Banks stars as one of them. “We exist because traditional law enforcement can’t keep up,” her character explains in the trailer, which is set to a new single performed by Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana del Rey.
Charlie’s Angels hits theaters Nov. 15.
