With its upcoming April 20th release date, the second trailer for Charlize Theron’s new movie Tully is out and ready for you to view. The movie, written by Diablo Cody (of Juno fame) and directed by Jason Reitman, is pretty much every mama—that is, every mama who has felt overwhelmed and unappreciated. Sound familiar?
If you caught the first Tully teaser trailer when it took the internet by storm a few months ago, you’re going to want to watch the second one too. Oh, and yeah, you’ll also want to see the film.
Here’s your first look at the poster for #TULLY! Share your own “sticker face” photo now on Instagram using #TullySweeps for a chance to win a trip for 2 to the premiere of Tully in Los Angeles. NO PUR NEC. Ends 9:00 A.M. PT 3/24/18. Open to legal residents of 50 U.S. & D.C., 21+. 1 prize available to be won. Rules: tullysweepsrules.com
Who is Tully, exactly? As it turns out she’s a nanny of sorts (played quirkily by the super-talented Mackenzie Davis). She’s sent to Theron’s character to help care for her children. But that’s not all. Tully is there to care for Theron as well. After all, every mommy needs her village, and not just for the kids. We all need a little (or a lot) of support ourselves too.
The trailer shows us a brutally honest, yet caring and comical, look at what mommy-dom is really like. From spilled breastmilk to a hubby who isn’t exactly helpful, we’re pretty sure this film will resonate with most of the mamas out there.
So schedule a sitter right now—the premiere is still more than a month away. You won’t want to wait for this one to come to Netflix.
