You’re all about exposing your kiddo to new experiences that expand her horizons.
With its global approach to learning and a focus on the performing arts, the British International School of Chicago’s Lincoln Park (BISC) campus does just that. The private school for students ages 2-11 just launched a brand-new dance program as part of their Juilliard-Nord Anglia Performing Arts Programme. Here’s everything you need to know:
- Out of its group of 47 schools in 18 countries (talk about global!), BISC is one of the inaugural schools launching the dance portion of the Juilliard-Nord Anglia Performing Arts Programme. This new component is the second part of their full performing arts program, which began in 2015 with the music portion. Expect BISC to add drama in the future!
- The Juilliard-Nord Anglia Performing Arts Programme is only available at BISC’s group of schools. Children as young as two years old benefit from the creative program, which focuses on inspiring a deep love of the arts.
- Top-notch instructors and small class sizes create an environment where children thrive.
- Prepare to be wowed by the 74,000-square-foot state-of-the-art campus which boasts features such as a dance studio, a drama studio, private vocal lessons and a summer arts program in Switzerland.
Tour the school to learn more about their robust performing arts curriculum. Family friendly open houses are held Nov. 12 and Jan. 7 from 10 a.m.-noon. Individual and group tours are available on weekdays.
With a BISC education, consider their horizons expanded.
