Hans Christian Andersen’s folktale gets a funky send-up in this children’s musical. The all-female roller derby kicks off the first bout of its travel teams’ season when Chicago’s Second Wind goes up against Toronto and Montreal. Peep baby chicks while they hatch. The annual exhibit features a child-height egg incubator, hatchery unit and pen for newborns. Rare Black Java and White Java chickens are part of the cuteness.
