The annual Christmas in the Commons celebration will kick off with Mayor Tim Baldermann officially lighting the Village tree on Sun., Dec. 4. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy some of New Lenox’s popular holiday traditions like a meet-and-greet with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, along with their two reindeer. Additionally, guests can partake in a horse-drawn carriage ride, ice skating and go on a tour of the variety of interactive, life-sized lighting displays. Hundreds of new lights will be featured along the Village’s Commons.
