Pine Creek Cabins — Oregon, Il
Located in the heart of the beautiful Rock River valley, the charming 385-acre White Pines Forest State Park is a picturesque wintertime retreat. When snow covers the ground, be sure to bring your skis, sleds and snowshoes, because the White Pines trails are ideal for winter sports and hiking. Two trails are specially marked for cross-country skiing totaling 4.5 miles. The Pine Creek Family Cabins at White Pines Inn feature hot tubs (in all but one) and fireplaces. Ideal for large families, two of these large cabins sleep up to 12. Though all cabins are equipped with full kitchens so you can cook up your own apres-ski feasts, the nearby Maxon Riverside Restaurant offers nightly family-style specials with a beautiful view of the icy riverscape.
