Whether baking cookies, advocating for families, inspiring scientific minds or making strides in medicine, these fathers are huggable heroes that balance their careers, their families and maybe even a superpower or two. The Lurie Doctor: Edward Gong

As a pediatric urologist, his kiddos call him a "pee pee doctor." While it makes them giggle, the honest truth is that Edward has made it his life’s mission to help little ones feel better. Aside from his doctor duties at Lurie Children's Hospital, Edward also leads a basic science research team that's looking for ways to help children born with abnormalities of the bladder. This Lincoln Park papa has been putting smiles on the faces of his mini patients at Lurie for the past four years. But when he isn’t helping other people's kiddos he sparks smiles on the faces of his own kiddos. You can find him playing Wrestlemania with Cedy (5), Edison (3) and Jared (1).
