Get ready, Chicago, because you’re about to get slimed! This year, for the first time ever, Nickelodeon is bringing SlimeFest right to your door. What is SlimeFest, and why do you need to experience it? Read on to find out (and get your tickets before it sells out!).
- SlimeFest is like no other festival in the world. It’s part music festival, part playland and part…slime! And unlike other grown-up festivals where there’s a kid’s zone, the entire festival is a kid’s zone. And this is the first time its being held EVER in the USA.
- There’s an all-star line up including live performances by Zedd; Liam Payne; Flo Rida and JoJo Siwa, plus meet-and-greets with Nick Jr. stars like Kel Mitchell and Benjamin Flores Jr. (Game Shakers); Riele Downs and Ella Anderson (Henry Danger); Breanna Yde (School of Rock); and Daniella Perkins and Owen Joyner (Knight Squad).
- Not only will you find slime, you can also climb, bounce and create in one of the many activity stations, including Nickelodeon walk-abouts. There will be no shortage of Nickelodeon’s signature brand of fun (and lots of green slime).
- Snag some killer Nickelodeon gear at the merchant area, fuel up on beverages and concessions in the food court, and then be ready to keep on rocking! This festival will pretty much guarantee they will sleep through the night—and because it ends at a reasonable hour you can have them fed and in bed just like it’s a school night (well, sorta). You’ll also find water bottle refill stations throughout the festival and giveaways galore.
SlimeFest will be held this year on June 9 & 10, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, Chicago. So you can goof off all day with the gorgeous Chicago skyline as your backdrop.
Tickets are on sale now and going fast so we recommend you snag a set for the whole family pronto. The festival offers the same lineup each day so you can go one or both days without missing out.
