Whether it’s the family cat or the fireflies in the backyard, your Dr. Doolittles can’t get enough of animals.

They’ll  fit right in at Lincoln Park Zoo’s camps where nature lovers get an up-close look at some of the world’s most intriguing creatures. Here’s why it’s a roaring good time:

  • This year’s spring break camp explores the captivating critters of the Americas. From the tropics to the tundras, there’s a different topic each day.
  • At Summer Conservation Camps (pre-K to fourth grade) they’ll learn about animal diversity and meet zoo staff. Take your pick from weekly themes such as grossology and camouflage.
  • Count on plenty of traditional camp fun including movement-based activities and lots of outdoor time. Older kids can join the Zoo Crew (fifth to eighth grade) for a two-week learning experience that includes field trips and a sleepover.
  • Tailor it to your schedule with half-days or full-days. And they’ve got you covered with aftercare that runs until 5 p.m. and a pre-made lunch option.

Here’s to safaris in the city.
