CMA Summer Art Colony Day Camp

Find a truly collaborative art-making experience in CMA’s Summer Art Colony Day Camps. Art Colony allows students ages 5-15 to spend the summer with CMA and immerse themselves in full-day, innovative arts courses. These technique-based classes are led by CMA’s team of Teaching Artists who design each camp’s curriculum off their own artistic practices. Young artists have a choice of 50+ classes at two exciting locations: the museum at 103 Charlton St. and historic Governors Island. Each week offers a unique theme focused on either fine arts or media projects. This summer, check out new classes: Exploring Illustrating Stories, Tiny Worlds: Art in Miniature, Street Art, Futuristic Fashion with littleBits, Cosplay, Video Game Design, CMA-on-the-Go: Museum Buffs, and much more!

2018 Summer Art Colony Camps run weekly 6/18-9/7 from 9 AM-5 PM. Camps at 103 Charlton St. run from 10 AM-4 PM, including drop-off between 9-10 AM and pick-up between 4-5 PM. Camps on Governors Island run from 8:45 AM-5 PM with drop-off and pick-up at the Battery Maritime Ferry. Register today for one or multiple weeks of Summer Art Colony and give your child an art-filled summer!
