While many fans of HGTV’s Fixer Upper have been super bummed that their beloved TV show will coming to an end this year, the stars of the show will welcoming something very special and brand new in 2018: Chip and Joanna Gaines are pregnant with their fifth child!

On Tuesday, Chip shared a cute post to his Instagram account of he and wife Joanna posing with puffed-out bellies… except in Joanna’s case, she wasn’t rocking just any ol’ “I had too much to eat tonight” belly—she is full on baby bump!

On Thursday, Joanna had a special Instagram of her own, sharing a very brief video of her ultrasound that teased their baby’s gender (“Chip swears he can already tell it’s a boy,” Joanna captioned the clip.) In the quick clip, you can hear Chip remark about how they can already see the heart beating already while Joanna lets out an amazed gasped. Even though the clip just a couple of seconds long, the moment is really sweet and shows how even a fifth pregnancy can still take a mom-to-be’s breath away.

Meanwhile, Chip took to Twitter to explain how Baby Gaines No. 5 might have been a bit of a surprise—however welcome—for the couple.

While JOHNNYSWIM didn’t outright take all the credit for the Gaines’ exciting news, they were happy to acknowledge their part.

No word yet on when the couple is due, but 2018 just got a whole lot busier for the stars of Fixer Upper. Between Joanna’s new Fixer Upper spinoff show, the release of Chip’s new book, Capital Gaines, Joanna’s first cookbook, Magnolia Table, coming out this April and a Hearth & Hand With Magnolia product refresh at Target over the holidays, it’s a wonder how they’ll be able to find the time to design, build and decorate a nursery with their amazingly keen eye for style.

When news broke in September that the wildly popular Fixer Upper would end after its fifth season, Jo told People that a large part of their decision to end the show came down to family. The Gaines have four children: Drake, 11; Ella Rose, 9; Duke, 8; and Emmie Kay, 7.

“They’re so young, and we want to give them the chance to have a normal childhood,” said Joanna. “Family is the most important thing in the world.” It’s entirely possible that their fifth child was very much planned-for—and even if it wasn’t, fans should be able to understand if they don’t want the spotlight that comes with being pregnant on reality TV.

Of course, the question now on everyone’s mind is whether or not we’re going to get a brand new line of Magnolia nursery decor—fingers crossed!
