Kids love construction projects. Well, how about a few completed projects that look like they stepped out of a fairy tale, were crafted out of 20 years worth of junk, or seemed to be swaying to the music? We found some of the coolest (and wackiest) architectural designs out there, so flip through the gallery below and be sure to share your favorites with budding builders!

Through the Woods – Dalat, Vietman

The brain-child of Vietnamese architect Dang Viet Nga, this expressionist design was inspired by the work of Antoni Gaudí, but visitors also see resemblances to illustrative works by Walt Disney and Salvador Dalí. There are no corners and no round or square windows. The overall building resembles a tree, nature-inspired sculptures can be spotted throughout the property, the ten rooms of the guesthouse each have an animal theme, and the hallways are built to resemble caves and tunnels. Truly an original and unusual design, Nga can even be spotted on the property!
