The birds are chirping, the daffodils are blooming, the weather has finally become—dare we say it—predictably inviting…but if your local playground isn’t enough to drag you out of the house, try one of these upcoming festivals. From croissants to books to sculpture to math games, consider your spring calendar full.

Truckeroo

Voted the third best festival in the Southeast, Truckeroo is a monthly food truck festival that launches its 2017 schedule in April. Showcasing D.C.’s most popular food trucks, introduce your kids to banh mi, tapas, kafta, and the stinkiest of cheeses—or just lure them with promises of ice cream sandwiches and frozen custard. Games and live music will keep the kids entertained while you go back for seconds.

When: April 7
