Some of our greatest lessons were taught outside of the classroom…without books! You know this, but if your kids are skeptical make them believers this weekend by taking them to one of the many educational experiences that are being disguised as crazy, fantastic times. There’s a magical bonsai tree science workshop, a ballet open house and a social skills class that your kids will think is one big dance party. Fun 101 is now in session!

Children’s Workshp: Will it be a Bonsai or a Big Tree?

One adult and one child will have a special day together as they work as lab partners, using their “scientist eyes” to observe details and make comparisons. You’ll learn about plant physiology, ecosystems and bonsai history, too. At the close of class, each research team will receive a seedling whose fate they will decide. Sat. Event details.
