Jul 16: 1-2-3 Andrés
1-2-3 Andrés Latin Grammy Award-winning duo of Andrés Salguero, and Christina Sanabria capitalize on Salguero’s Colombian training as PhD teaching artist with a background in clarinet and traditional instruments.  Their new album Canta Las Letras is an entertaining integration of Spanish and English language learning and fun.

Jul 27: the grandsons Jr.
Wind up and wind down July with the grandsons Jr., the kids and family version of The Grandsons, a five piece all DMV based jazz ensemble with an eclectic mix of jazz, country, and New Orleans R & B, an area favorite brought to you by Farifax County’s free morning Arts in the Parks series for families.

Reggae artist Aaron Nigel Smith hails from Portland, Oregon where he founded the One World Chorus and the kids music and book fest, Rox n’ Sox, promoting both unity and charity among children in the U.S., Jamaica and Africa.

Aug 4: Mr. Gabe and the Circle Time All Stars
A household name from Takoma Park, Md., Mr. Gabe and his band play a Sunday morning show for Arlington families with oldies but goodies and original music off the band’s D.C. metro themed album. Grab brunch nearby, and after the show walk around the wooded paved trails surrounding this neighborhood venue.
