Four Mile Run Movie Series
Movie lovers of all ages can head to the Four Mile Run Movie Series in Arlandria on the last Friday of the month from May 25 – Aug 31. The park will be transformed into an outdoor cinema. Movies start at dusk and are screened with Spanish subtitles. The free events will also include two hours of activities and entertainment leading up to show time. Family favorites include Mary Poppins, Sing and The Secret Life of Pets.

Cinema Del Ray
Head to the Mount Vernon Rec Center, in Alexandria, on the third Saturday of the month, from May-September. They’ll have animated movies everyone can enjoy. From The Lion King, to Toy Story 3 and even Lego Batman Movie. There’s something to please even the pickiest movie goer in your fam!

This year’s Wonder Women- themed NoMa Summer Screen features, appropriately enough, a variety of movies with strong female leads. The three month film series starts on Wednesday, June 6 and runs weekly through August 29. Moana, Mulan and, of course, Wonder Woman are amongst those that will be featured.
