Since 1971, Wolf Trap’s Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods has been a Washington-area summer tradition for children and their families, featuring live performances and diverse acts including puppetry, storytelling, dance, theater, and music. Situated in the heart of Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, the open-air Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods welcomes families, school groups, camps, caregivers, and their young ones, and often serves as children’s first live performance experience. Performances can be enjoyed Tuesday through Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $8 – $12 and children under two may attend free of charge.
Looking for more performances? The Filene Center at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts is a majestic natural setting for over 70 performances across all genres every summer and The Barns at Wolf Trap hosts Wolf Trap Opera and numerous concerts and events throughout the year.
