With the royal wedding under a week away, raise your hand if you’ve been kind of wondering, “Does Meghan Markle want kids with Prince Harry?” Yes, she’s not even married yet—but the next royal baby watch is pretty much underway, especially following the birth of royal baby Prince Louis, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s third child. According to a recent revelation from Markle’s former agent/friend Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne, it looks like the soon-to-be bride might be ready for mommyhood sooner rather than later.
Before we all start photoshopping mash-ups of Markle and Prince Harry, put the brakes on. There’s no big announcement just yet. But in a documentary that recently aired on Britain’s Sky One, Nelthorpe-Crowne did dish on Markle’s thoughts on starting her very own family.
Today Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle visited the Commonwealth Youth Forum (CYF) at the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre in London. Prince Harry opened the forum on Monday and for the last few days, the CYF has set up out to highlight the powerful potential of young people across the Commonwealth. Prince Harry and Ms. Markle met some of the young delegates taking part in the forum and heard about how they plan to approach the challenges facing young people around the Commonwealth. 📷PA
In the documentary Nelthorpe-Crowne explains, “She said to me, ‘I would absolutely love to have children, and I can’t wait to be a mother.’” Hmm. It looks like Markle, at least according to her friend, is ready to be more than a royal aunt.
Of course, Prince Harry’s brother Prince William and his wife waited to get pregnant for well over a year after getting married. By the time that Kate gave birth to their first child, Prince George, over two years had gone by.
Even though she hasn’t confirmed or denied wanting a post-wedding pregnancy, the very much in love bride and her princely groom will certainly make awesomely amazing parents.
