The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces is proud to announce the Second Annual Callanwolde Arts Festival coming to the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center January 24th and 25th in Atlanta, Georgia. The Callanwolde Arts Festival is a two-day indoor festival located in one of the most distinctive historic properties in Atlanta. This event will feature approximately 80 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalwork, glass artists, jewelers and more! The Festival will also offer artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, plus gourmet food trucks with healthy alternatives. Amazing moongazing! Using binoculars, a spotting scope, and telescopes, we’ll study the face of the moon and learn more about constellations and the night sky. Binoculars will be provided, or bring your favorite pair! Weather may prevent us from actually seeing the moon and stars, but we will still have fun and learn about the moon and stars! This program features an Environmental Science Educator-led hike in the Marin Headlands. Our evening hikes are usually no more than 2 miles and allow for fun and learning along the way. After the hike we provide all the necessary supplies for some fun around the campfire including S'more roasting, campfire skits & fun sing alongs!
