Ah, it’s almost that time of year again: the sweaters are coming out of storage, there’s pumpkin EVERYTHING everywhere and the leaves are looking like a box of Crayola colors. Who’s ready for a fall foliage train trip? If you just raised your hand, Amtrak has an offer that might just make your autumn excursion daydreams into a reality.

Amtrak’s Great Dome Car is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a train car that has a dome—for scenic viewing of course. And when it comes to Amtrak’s Adirondack route, the scenic viewing is absolutely can’t-miss during autumn.

The Dome Car trip starts in Albany, New York and ends in Montreal, Canada. And if you’re wondering how much it costs to view fab fall foliage, the price might just be as much of a can’t-miss attraction as the leaves are.How does $53 one-way sound? You can get even cheaper fares if you’re traveling for shorter distances within the route.

Don’t procrastinate or hesitate making your travel plans. The Great Dome Car is only in service from Sep. 27 through Nov. 2. The Dome Car isn’t attached to the Adirondack train for each trip, so check with Amtrak before making your reservation.
