In the digital age, it can be all too easy to get a little click-happy with online purchases, but Google’s purchases page is here to help. The feature stores your entire online shopping history so you can see exactly what you’ve spent and where.

Many Google users may not be aware of this function, but it can be accessed via your Google Account under the Payments and Subscriptions tab. Once you click, you’ll find a list of all your purchases, including deliveries and online orders, gathered through Google Assistants and Gmail. It also has a section of travel reservations, including flights, hotels and restaurants.

The section is private and viewable only by the account holder and can come in handy when you’re trying to track your spending habits or plan your household budget. It’s also a great all in one spot to track the details of your travel plans.

In an emailed statement, Google said: “To help you easily view and keep track of your purchases, bookings and subscriptions in one place, we’ve created a private destination that can only be seen by you. You can delete this information at any time. We don’t use any information from your Gmail messages to serve you ads, and that includes the email receipts and confirmations shown on the Purchase page. We’re always working to help people understand and manage their data.”
