Made in the Braid

Ponytails and braids are a schoolgirl's staple. Take the look to a whole new level with these Heidi Braids from Cup of Jo.

What You’ll Need:
Rattail comb
Bobby pins
2 small hair elastics
Long piece of ribbon

How to:
Step1: Part the hair down the middle--or on the side--into two sections.

Step 2: Take the first
section, and split it into three equal parts.

Step 3: Place the center of the ribbon against the back of the head, and add the ribbon into the center parting; braid (with the ribbon included) and secure the end with an elastic.

Step 4: Repeat on the other side.

Step 5: Gently pull each braid up to the top of the head, tucking the tails underneath each other and pinning in place with bobby pins.

Step 6: Tie the ribbon into a bow, and give your little princess some room for a curtsy.
