Tricks, Treats, and Tutus: A Birthday Party with a Halloween Twist
Who would have ever thought to combine both a kids birthday party and a Halloween party into one festive celebration? Well that’s exactly what Lea from Fly Away Design did for her daughter Peyton’s 5th birthday. A twist on this already cool party — Lea decided to make the party a “twirl” theme, as her little one loves to dance. Everything from the decorations to the party favors is absolutely outrageous (and amazing since Lea created many of the decorations and goods herself). You really just have to check out the photos below to believe it.
A true twirling party isn’t complete without some tutus courtesy of Tutu-A-Gogo. Tutu-A-Gogo also provided all of the bows, leg-warmers, pettiskirts, and bows for the party.

Girls went to the boo-tifying stations for tattoos, glitter, make-up, and to get their nails painted. In addition to all the of tutus and favors, Tutu-A-Gogo also did all of the make-up and nail painting.

The tricks jar was filled with chocolate “eyeballs”
Made from Starbucks frappaccino glasses, these potion bottles were filled with magic “twirling” gems that helped stir up their orange or lemon potions. The labels and straw flags were designed and printed by Lea (Fly Away Design)
The party favors for the girls: their very own tutu and a pair of brightly colored leg warmers.
The party favors for the boys: colorful arm warmers and a pumpkin mask.
For the little guests at the party: spooky soaps!
To accessorize their tutus, the girls received necklace making kits in their goodie bags.
The take-home goodie bags were filled with the necklace making kits, Halloween ornaments, pencils and pencil toppers, and a paper pad.
Is this not the wildest birthday party you’ve ever seen? Do you think this would be a hit for the little twirler in your family?
