Homepage & Mobile Takeover Ad Specs

Red Tricycle’s Homepage Takeover includes both high impact desktop and mobile units, working together to deliver powerful engagement and reach.Two wallpaper units dynamically change the background of the homepage with a marketer’s brand messaging – bookending the editorial content. Coupled with an optional Expandable Leaderboard unit or Billboard Unit, clients have 100% SOV of the above the fold high-impact units. On mobile, the mobile interstitial offers broad impressions while also yielding highest mobile CTRs.

ŸHomepage choices include: National, Atlanta, Bump & Baby, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, San Diego, and Washington DC.

ŸMore than one homepage may be chosen for your campaign date.

ASSETS REQUIRED:

ŸWALLPAPER UNIT

  • Ÿ1345 x 2780 with 1025 transparent pixels in between
  • Text should comprise no more than 20% of wallpaper image
  • ŸFile Formats: .jpg, .gif. swf or third-party tag accepted
  • ŸMax File Size: 75k

BILLBOARD UNIT (or EXPANDABLE)

  • 970×250
  • File Formats: .jpg, .gif. swf or third-party tag accepted
  • Max File Size: 40k
  • Animation Allowed: 15 seconds, 3 loops

EXPANDABLE BILLBOARD UNIT (OPTIONAL)

  • Ÿ970×250 and 970×500
  • File Formats: .swf only with clickTag embedded
  • Max File Size: 100k
  • Animation Allowed: 15 seconds, 3 loops

MOBILE

  • 320×480
  • File Formats: .jpg, .gif. swf or third-party tag accepted
  • Max File Size: 40k
  • Animation Allowed: 15 seconds, 3 loops.

FILE REQUIREMENTS

  • .jpg, .gif. swf or third-party tag accepted
  • Max file size for Static images is 40K.
  • Max file size for Rich Media is 100K.
  • Max Animation and Loops for Rich Media is :15, 3x
  • All .jpg, .gif. swf must be accompanied by a landing URL. 

TARGETING OPTIONS

This 320×480 unit is the mobile responsive version for the desktop version. Desktop version targets homepage only, while mobile version will target site-wide.

THIRD-PARTY TAGS:

  • We accept most Third-Party Tags for the website banners
  • All Third-Party Tags should also be accompanied by detailed trafficking instructions, creative files, and click through URLs.

MATERIAL SUBMISSION:

Creative units must be submitted via your client-specific Box Folder. Deadlines for materials for each ad product will be provided by your account representative. Following deadlines enables thorough time for the review period. Otherwise campaign launch may be delayed.
You will receive an email invitation to your Box Folder from Red Tricycle’s Box account. First time advertisers, will be given an opportunity to create a new Box account.

Deadlines will be provided for all line items on an Media Plan by your account representative. Following deadlines and spec requirements is imperative to ensuring your campaign launches on time.
