You might not usually encourage your kids to play with their food, but these DIY gummy LEGO bricks in the video below will make kids and grownups alike want to play along!

YouTuber Grant Thompson of “The King of Random” has created a video tutorial that offers a pretty simple method for making your own colorful, gummy LEGO bricks.

As the video describes all you need is some Jell-O mix, corn syrup, unflavored gelatin and silicone molds. With easy-to-follow directions, you’ll have your own gummy LEGO bricks in no time. You can also use the same method to create just about any shape of gummy depending on the molds you use.

While using most brick-shaped molds won’t result in real working bricks that can actually fit together, if you can fashion your own mold like the one Thompson demonstrates you can build your own gummy LEGO structures. Either way, your kids will have tons of fun eating these yummy LEGO gummies.
