We absolutely love trail mix because it’s totally customizable to your kids taste and it’s super easy to pack and bring on-the-go. Since there are dozens of varieties you can make we’ve created a list of fun ingredients to pick from to celebrate National Trail Mix Day.

Ingredients–choose as many as you like:

Granola (click here for our Editor’s super easy DIY granola recipe)
Dried fruit (cranberries, mango, pineapple, apples, cherries)
Cheerios
Mini M&Ms
Mini pretzels
Goldfish
Mini peanut butter cups
Nuts (some schools ask you don’t bring peanuts or nuts for lunch so be aware of any nut allergies or nut restrictions)
Sunflower seeds
Raisins

Method:

1. Mix everything together and enjoy!
