Doesn’t it seem like you’re always buying clothes for your kids? Before every new season and after every growth spurt, you think, “Here we go again.” But what if you could shop from home and help those in need at the same time? Here are six kids clothing websites that let you do just that—it’s an amazing way to teach your little ones about the importance of giving back. For every item you buy, the company will donate to charity or give the same item you buy to a child in need. Spending money has never felt so good.

Polkadot What

What They Do
Polkadot What gives your daughter a taste of what it’s like to be a fashion designer and philanthropist. The site allows girls to design their own leggings using the site’s interactive dashboard, selecting stripes or other shapes to decorate each leg. What’s really cool is that each shape and stripe signifies a positive characteristic, from smart to unique to talented. In a few days, your daughter’s customized leggings will arrive in the mail.

How They Give Back

Founder Zani Suttle, who launched the site in 2011, wants to spread Polkadot What's mission of empowering creativity and instilling confidence in kids everywhere. And that’s where The Lunch Box Fund comes in. For each pair of leggings created and sold, five lunches are provided to school kids in impoverished and at risk areas of South Africa through The Lunch Box Fund.

“With the sales from our leggings,” Zani told us, “we hope the lunches provided will also give those kids a chance and energy to create, be confident and happy too!”

What’s your experience with online clothing sites that give back?
