According to Bell’s Instagram post, “A new #veronicamars series is coming back, on @hulu!!!! Veronica has always been a super hero without a Cape. And I think shes exactly what the world needs right now.” Hmm. We couldn’t have said it any better!
Bell went on to add, “Thank you to all my fellow marshmallows who stayed excited. Thank you to @hulu for the opportunity. I hope we’re still friends after I taser you.”
So what can we expect from this much-anticipated revival? According to Variety, the series will debut in 2019 with an eight-episode run. Along with new episodes, the Warner Bros. and Hulu arrangement reportedly includes the rights to all past Veronica Mars episodes and Bell’s 2014 Veronica Mars movie—so you can binge-watch your favorite episodes before new ones drop next year.
