LA is loaded with iconic spots from the Santa Monica Pier Ferris Wheel to the Hollywood Sign in the hills, but they’re are easy to see. LA is also filled with unique, must-see attractions that are little more off the beaten path. The Magic Castle

Abracadabra! What other city can offer up a hidden magic castle? Literally. Tucked away in the Hollywood Hills, right behind Hollywood Boulevard is the historic Magic Castle, which allows for the under 21 set in for a family-style brunch on Saturday or Sunday of every week. Enjoy live entertainment, close-up magic demonstrations in the parlor room, and surprises around every corner. Be sure to check out the magic piano that can play any tune you request, and don’t forget to say the magic words to gain entrance…

This is LA, so not just anyone can get in. You must be a member, or have a member call in and make a reservation for you. This really isn’t as hard as it might seem. You probably already know someone, who knows someone. Or check to see who is performing; magicians love an audience and one who is performing the day you go may be happy to get you in to cheer them on.
