The Binocular Building

While visiting the Giant Ballerina Clown, you can stroll right down the street to see an enormous pair of binoculars, peering back at you. Kids get a kick out of this building that looks like their favorite bird watching tool. You’ll get a kick out of knowing that you’re actually looking at a piece of local architecture lore: this was the last building designed in LA by Frank Gehry before he came back to do the Walt Disney Concert Hall. It was designed for an advertising company (originally, it was called the Chiat/Day Building), it is now simply referred to as “the binocular building” and houses Google. One more reason for your kids to love it.
