the scoop:

Explore how designers in California and Mexico shared ideas to create fabuloso design in the special exhibition Found in Translation: Design in California and Mexico, 1915–1985. Orale! Be inspired to make your own diseños.

And while you’re at the museum, don’t miss Chris Burden’s kinetic sculpture, Metropolis II. Kids can sit mesmerized for ages at this whizzing, whirring mass. It’s in action every Sunday (Fridays and Saturdays, too.)

LACMA’s Andell Family Sundays are programs designed especially for families: make art, look at art, and talk about art together in workshops and bilingual gallery tours. Most of all—have fun.

The program is free with admission, and kids always get free admission for themselves and an accompanying adult with the LACMA NexGen program! Please remember that all children must be accompanied by an adult.
