when: First Tuesday of the Month
where: Natural History Museum, 900 Exposition Blvd., Los Angeles, Ca
ages: All Ages
Bugs and dinos and creatures – oh my! The Natural History Museum is fabulous for kiddos of all ages and is getting better all the time. The Dinosaur Hall has the prehistoric age covered, the diorama halls have animals from all over the modern world, the insect zoo has your creepy crawlies covered, and there are tons of gems and minerals, fossils and history and plenty of hands on stations and activities to keep the busiest little ones happy and entertained.
And on the first Tuesday of every month except in summer (and on every Tuesday in September), admission is free for everyone. (Even better.) They recommend that you skip the line and reserve your tickets in advance!
Tip: Did you know you can save on parking, and save the environment (and have a great time) by taking the Metro to Exposition Park? You can also reserve your tickets in advance for this popular free day.
