Join November’s Junior Scientist program to meet one of NHMLA’s scientists and discover why and how we study the plants and animals that live right here in our city. Spend time in the Nature Gardens learning about a common backyard animal with a special city history, the squirrel. Explore how squirrels live their lives in L.A., what roles they play in our urban ecosystem, and how our scientists study these city dwellers.
